    It's normal AOSP-based Android ROM (ArrowOS in my case, now discontinued) and a few tweaks with UI customised I mentioned further down that thread: https://github.com/Mahmud0808/Iconify
    It requires rooted phone and for in-depth customisations something that enables Xposed-compatible injections like LSPosed.
    It's good software that allows for many tweaks, but sadly it doesn't work in Android 15 and newer 😢

        Yeah, I believe new UI turned out more customisable than some were originally inclined to think. I haven't touched it myself yet, but I've seen some screenshots here on Fedi with wide and narrow QS tiles combined which looks pretty cool — I agree, when everything is just full-width, it looks horrible.

          Not quite what I would do with it, but demonstrates the options.

          In fact introduction of these wide QS tiles in Android 12 and having no options to change that without hacks seriously made me consider downgrading to Android 11 even having been on 12.1 for more than a year 😅
